Help for Foreigners

At the moment, foreigners are arriving in our country looking for a better future for themselves and their families than they are offered in their country of origin. But from their arrival they are faced with a reality which causes them difficulty and prevents them from fully intergrating into our society.

The reality for them is:
1.- They are in a counrty which is different to their own.
2.- Unfamiliar legal system.
3.- Lack of knowledge of the language.
4.- Lack of knowledge of the Spanish culture.

5.- Limited education.
6.- Lack of information about the job market.
7.- Lack of knowledge about job circuits.
8.- Difficulty to find a suitable home.

Through the area of help for foreigners, CVC helps those foreigners who arrive in our country to make their integration into the world of work, the social world and the culture a reality. CVC wants to work for their favour, giving them help and support, informing them of the opportunities which they have at their disposition, guiding them and advising them thus equipping them for their integration into the different fields of our society, helping them to the point where they know and participate in our society, overcoming the language barrier.

Specifically, with the REAL LEGAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMMIGRANTS project we want to consolidate the network of information, guidance and advice on the world of work for foreigners. To ensure that the social, laboral and cultural integration of the said people becomes a reality, the program includes the following basic subjects:

1.- Adaptation to the culture
2.- Learning the language
3.- Management of procedures among authorities
4.- Introduction into the world of work
5.- Legal orientation
6.- Distribution of food and clothing
7.- Procedures to gain a decent home
