EEarly
in May, a group of young people prepared their hearts
to seek more of God in the camping at
Leon, Gto, Mexico. In this camping we counted with
the presence of Juan Colín, pastor in CVC Atlacomulco,
along with 74 young people coming from CVC churches:
Xola, Neza, Iztacalco, Atlacomulco, León and
Spain.
At our first day, Juan Colín started with a
series of lectures whose main goal was to drive us
into taking the place God want us to be in. The second
day, after our morning prayer and a wonderful breakf ast,
made by the hosts in the camp, we started the workshop
“Youth with Spirit”. Where we discussed,
during 3 sessions, on the aspects of personality we
need to be of influence and to bless our surroundings,
such as: humbleness, sensitivity, responsibility and
promptness. In between each lecture, the workshops
took place with 9 teams. Where we discussed in a practical
way what it is every of this areas and its repercussion
in our daily lives.
 In
that same day, and as usual, we had the “Rally”
where through a variety of trials our spirit raised.
Courage, team work and the opportunity to overcome
our fears. We had a costume party on cartoon characters,
And at last, each team made songs referring to the
camp motto.
Juan Colín encouraged us to believe in Jesus,
to be brave men and women and to make a commitment
to fight and to pact with God. After that, we had
our customary bonfire where we praised and prayed.
God blessed us with a special time in communion.
On
Sunday, the closure of the camp took place, and every
one made a pact to grow in spirit, holding to God’s
promises at Centro de Vida Cristiana. |
