A message of hope
for women

On
the 17th May this year our annual women’s breakfast took
place at CVC Mexico where 269 women from the churches in Atlacomulco,
Neza, Iztacalco, Emannuel and Xola attended. More than 60 volunteers
were also there to help create the friendly atmosphere in which
they were able to have a special time of fellowship.
God
spoke into our lives by his great love, using Pastor Hugo Miranda
to remind us that He is the good shepherd and cares for His sheep;
calling us to be free from all fear and to walk confidently under
his care and governance. Looking at the wife in Proverbs 31, he
encouraged us to be wives of noble character, reflecting on the
characteristics that have accompanied him throughout his life
to help him to take a dignified position in life.
He
also made us think about what it is that moves our hearts; people
or God? He clearly showed us that there is nothing that can stop
us from making the decision to be free from the lies of this world
and that this decision determines the others of our present and
our future. Finally, encouraged in God, we were able to see that
with hope we can embrace the projects that God has for our lives.
With
this knowledge, 19 women made the decision to give their lives
to God for the first time, inviting God to take control of their
lives.
