Big party for the kids of nearby communities of San Juan de los Jarros and San Marcos Tlazalpan. Past April 26th we celebrated “Kids Day” to 58 children of these communities. A total of 87 people attended this event, of those 58 kids, 8 parents, 17 volunteers from CVC Atlacomulco and 4 volunteers from CVC Xola. We started with all the preparations very early. Undoubtedly a very expected day for all kids, since most of them never had the chance to have a party of this nature.

A group of volunteers borrowed their cars and vans to pick up the kids from their own communities and bring them to the Theatre in Atlacomulco. At the arrival, their little faces showed big surprise, because many of them, including their moms, have never seen a cinema. At this point we couldn’t miss the chance to talk to them about order, discipline and the clean they had to be throughout all the activities planed for the day, reflecting in a practical way everything we had taught them month by month..

When the movie was over, we drove them to the amusement park “Las Fuentes” where they had fun playing and refreshing in the pools, under the strict watch and care of every volunteer. After a few hours of play we showered them, and mean while encouraged them to be more careful in their personal hygene.

In order and joy, we shared food we made with love. Later on, we had group dynamics for integration, fun and socialization, since they are from two different communities. It was very satisfactory to see their faces all smiles in every activity we had, as well as to see their surprise faces when we raffled toys they never imagine to have. All toys were a gift from our brothers of CVC Xola.

At the end of the day, we prayed with and for the kids, highlighting that every little show of love was motivated for our God, which fulfills us with his love to share. In this mood, we drove them back to their communities.
