Smiles and joy amongst the children who live in extreme poverty

With desire to share and to give to those that are less favored, the adolescents of CVC Xola were motivated to collect toy during the Christmas festivities and take them to the children who live in extreme poverty in San Juan de los Jarros, Atlacomulco. With a lot of joy and love they wrapped the gifts and distributed them with a team from CVC Atlacomulco on the 5th and 6th of January.

On January 5, 151 toys and 10 blankets were distributed to needy families. Most of the deliveries were carried out in the Delegación Municipal de Atlacomulco institutions, other families were attended to in San Jerónimo de los Jarros several kilometers away; a marginalized area which lacks public services.

On January 6 a total of 70 toys were distributed in the municipality of Atlacomulco to children who are work in the town square and on market stalls.

In this way a total of 172 persons, amongst them 151 children and 21 women, was assisted by 15 volunteers.

We can say that it is quite satisfactory to see the smile that comes across the face of every child who received a gift from the Lord Jesus Christ from our hands during these days; marginalized children who sometimes even lack their daily food.
