MANAGEMENT OF PROJECTS FOR ASSOCIATION'S COURSES

On 23rd and 24th November, Integración para la vida gave the 1st MANAGEMENT OF PROJECTS FOR ASSOCIATIONS COURSE in Alhaurín de la Torre, Málaga. They were accompanied by Excmo. Sr. Alcalde of Alhaurín de la Torre, Joaquín Villanova who encouraged the associations who were present to continue working and developing their work and also emphasised the importance of preparing yourselves to give your best service to society. So the 1st course was aimed at the associations to carry out in their localities.

Integración para la Vida were happy with the Mayor's work and they presented him as a model to follow and as an answer to the formative needs of Alhaurín de la Torre. We were also graced with the presence and support of Remedios Cueto, who are the part of the City council who deal with social wellbeing of Alhaurín de la Torre. He encouraged the different associations to participate with and take notice of the work of Integración para la Vida. Sandra Galeote, the City council’s psychologist in wellbeing of Alhaurín presented the course and supported the management and organisation tasks. We also counted on the support and collaboration of 5 volunteers, who were in charge of the meal, reception and organising.

The paper work was taken care of by the lawyer Rebecca Becerra who gave a brief summary of the subsidize law and also the social worker Susana García who imparted “how to develop a social project".

47 people signed up for the course, and it was a pleasant atmosphere. Various associations showed interest and Integración para la Vida advised them in managing their organisations and in the development of their projects.
